Confederation of all India Traders (CAIT) represents a massive 8 crore traders in India. The domestic retail market is largely dominated by local traders that sell everything from mobiles to clothes and groceries through small stores. These retailers account for over 10% of the country's GDP and around 8% of the employment. As per Kearney Research on India's Retail Industry Report, November 2021, India's retail industry is projected to grow from US$ 779 billion in 2019 to US$ 1,407 billion by 2026 and more than US$ 1.8 trillion by 2030.We want to bring this underserved segment into the mainstream financial services fold by providing them access to credit facilities.
