My Hospital Sitter provides compassionate non-medical care to patients that are in the hospital or a short term medical facility. Care and services will be conducted at a medical facility where we provide the respite care model. The respite care model includes providing temporary, as-needed, relief to family members/caregivers who typically provide care. We can usually provide services within 24 hours of the initial phone call.Non-Medical Services My Hospital Sitter offers non-medical services for a couple of hours, up to 24/7 continuous care. We can accommodate specifically overnight or custom scheduled time periods of respite care within the hospital to relieve the family members. Our certified CPR sitter provides the following services: Observe patient to prevent falls Monitors and records who enters/exits the patient's room Observe patient behavior and report any changes Companionship to patient Unobtrusive care with confidentialityAssist patient with calling nurse or nurse's aide.If allowed by nurse in charge and family, assist with combing hair, feeding, and dressing.Non-Medical Services Benefits The patients of My Hospital Sitter and their family members or caregiver will receive the benefits:Caregiver or family members will not have to miss work or important events/meetings.We will never leave your loved one alone. Our sitter will stay with the patient until the family member or caregiver returns and we provide constant companionship. We provide the patient's family members with a detail status update report on the patient. Caregiver/family member can rest and return to the patient refreshed and rested.If patient is having an outpatient procedure or surgery, we can help sit with patient in recovery.Services available to start within 24 hours from request.
