Enko Riverside International School (founded as Enko Nyamunda in 2015) is an English-medium secondary school which offers o the IB Diploma Programmeo the Cambridge IGCSE o the Cambridge Lower Secondary We provide our ambitious young students in Mozambique with a launch pad to the world's best universities.The school is part of the Enko Education network. Our new campus in Rua José Macamo 175 in Maputo was opened on July 30th 2018 and offers 14 classrooms, Science and ICT labs, a library, a multi-purpose room, a canteen, a basketball field and ample outdoor space. The teachers are qualified, IB- and Cambridge-trained and six of them are IB Diploma examiners.The school year runs from mid-January to late-November and is divided up into three terms of 13 weeks each. There are three-week breaks after terms 1 and 2, and a longer break from late November to mid-January. During the breaks teachers are available for one week of tutoring. Our teachers are offering a great variety of extracurricular activities, for example Soccer, Basketball, Guitar, Chess, Drama, Band, Yearbook Team, Model United Nations, Meditation and Mindfulness, Creative Writing (Eng.), Creative Writing (Port.), Table Tennis and Dance.Communication between parents and the school happens via the online Parent Portal (as part of our integrated School Information System), face-to-face (e.g. during Parent-Student-Teacher conferences and individual meetings), telephone and email.
