The Eastern Mediterranean International School (EMIS) is a unique international boarding high school with a mission of making education a force for peace and sustainability in the Middle East.Located in Hakfar Hayarok, a youth village and educational campus in the center of Israel, EMIS fosters intercultural understanding and promotes personal and social leadership. Through a shared educational and living experience, EMIS students gain the values of respect, diversity, and global citizenship. Our students complete the prestigious two-year International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program. Students can choose to spend 3 years at EMIS by doing a Pre-IB year in 10th grade.
