The Peace Project was originally founded to fight the spread of domestic terror through social media. Since then, we've broadened our understanding of oppression and its roots. Our goals are presently focused on the rise of dehumanization and it's endorsement of violence against oppressed peoples.The Peace Project connects the dots between human rights advocates and policy makers, social sciences, and media to proactively counter hate and violence. Currently, our main focus is on the genocide of Uyghur Muslims. The Peace Project is a 501(c)(3) nonpartisan non-profit human rights organization based in Washington, D.C.
