K7 Bulletin is a student newspaper in Bergen (Norway). It is produced by Mediatrykk and is distributed to 5000 students in Bergen, Oslo, Stavanger, Trondheim and other small and big cities in Norway. The employees of the paper are all working on a 100 per cent voluntary basis. It is a subcommittee of the student association NHHS, which is the student association at Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Bergen. This is one of the largest and most influential student associations in Norway with a wide spectre of activities both in cultural and more practical sense. It is produced every second week 12 times a year (6 editions each semester). The paper receive money from ads but they only indirectly cover the costs with these since the money coming into the company/newspaper goes to NHHS. The only exception is the money coming in from Velferdstinget (VT), which is distributed every year to cultural, political and student media purposes in Bergen. The money from VT are earmarked for K7 Bulletin use and is mainly used to cover the cost of printing, but also other costs like insurance, investments and salary for the person distributing the newspaper to different locations all over Bergen. This person is the only paid individual in the newspaper, and is not an official/unofficial member of the journalist group - at least not today. It includes various sections including the news section, the magazine, the sport section and Intersection (the international section of the paper).
