1975 is a gallery in Rochester, NY focused on new contemporary, street art, tattoo art, graffiti, skateboarding, and related disciplines. All mediums are welcome. We are dedicated to exposing talented artists to a community that might otherwise overlook them and facilitating the would-be collector. We began as a gallery living in a semi-permanent space within SURFACE salon in the South Wedge in Rochester, NY and after three and a half years settled into our new home in Rochester's downtown in the former Little Bakery. 1975 is about to celebrate its sixth year in October 2014. 1975 Gallery 89 charlotte St (at Pitkin st.)
