The Toronto Insurance Women's Association, aka TIWA, is the Toronto chapter of the Canadian Association of Insurance Women. Founded in 1960, TIWA is a not-for-profit association of members of the insurance and related industries who meet in a social atmosphere to educate members and help them reach their potential both professionally and personally. TIWA also promotes the spirit of friendship and service in the industry and high ethical standards in business and social relations. Any persons working within the insurance and related industries, including students, and those servicing and those wishing to establish themselves within these industries, are eligible for membership in TIWA.
