PLEIN LES YEUX is a new festival dedicated to French cinema and French culture. The festival aims to reinforce the understanding and appreciation of culture in general in French culture specifically in the Netherlands. The festival's ambition is to connect people of all ages with different social and educational backgrounds, as well as institutions, non-profit organisations, media and companies through French cinema and culture. For its first edition from June 3rd to 7th 2015, the festival will present a showcase of critically acclaimed new films produced in France and in French speaking countries and still unreleased in The Netherlands. PLEIN LES YEUX's focus on French and French-language cinema will offer the opportunity to widen perspectives on the richness of French culture beyond cinema itself, in all its diversity: language, literature, photography, gastronomy and "art de vivre".
