India Shelter Finance Corporation aims to empower middle-income households with credit to acquire new homes, to extend and improve their current homes and for business expansion. So far, we have helped over 60,000 households by disbursing over Rs. 50,000 crores in loans! India Shelter Finance Corporation Ltd (ISFC) is the new name of the erstwhile Satyaprakash Housing Finance India Limited (SHFIL), which was granted the certificate of registration by National Housing Bank on 26th October 1998. The business was taken over by a group of professionals and re-launched on 12th March 2010.Sequoia Capital invested in the company to meet the requirements of its first phase of growth. Later Sequoia Capital, Nexus Venture Partners and Westbridge infused more capital in the company to help accelerate growth.
