Khelix (CathRx Ltd) is a fast-growing medical device company based in Sydney, Australia. Our mission is to design and develop innovative electrophysiology (EP) catheters for the treatment of heart rhythm disorders. \\We recently received CE Mark Approval for the world's first reusable 'razor and razor blade' diagnostic EP catheters. Designed in conjunction with leading electrophysiologist Professor Prashanthan Sanders, our catheters have been engineered to ensure superior handling performance and device economics. The products have now been trialed / used in 6 hospitals in Germany and Australia. Testing has demonstrated that sterility and functionality are maintained after a minimum twenty cycles of simulated use, cleaning, and autoclaving. \\The introduction of modular razor and razor blade catheters is expected to generate substantial economic savings for hospitals and healthcare systems globally while simultaneously reducing medical waste landfill. Risks usually associated with the re-use of sterile devices are largely removed through the Company's patented hybrid platform. The blood contacting electrode sheath is disposed of after each use effectively eliminating the risk of cross contamination, and the high-quality build ensures that the functional performance of the devices is maintained over twenty use cycles. \\Khelix has also designed and patented advanced AF Ablation concepts, including irrigated, multi-electrode, linear lesion technology.
