Going above and beyond, Abode Communities' mission-critical on-site resident (social) services program, Beyond Homes, ensures that underserved children and families, seniors, and people with special needs (formerly homeless, at-risk homeless, survivors of domestic violence, mentally/physically disabled, and youth emancipated from the foster care system) can remain stable in their housing and improve their livelihoods as they work toward long term self-sufficiency. Today, Abode Communities owns and operates 35 affordable residential communities serving nearly 6,200 extremely low-, very low- and low-income people. Similarly, the organization's complimentary Beyond Homes resident (social) services program is offered at 18 of these locations, serving more than 4,100 low-income people.
