Since we opened our door in 2003, women have come to Josephine's Place to find a safe haven - a welcoming and supportive environment where they can connect with one another and develop the skills they need to succeed, such as English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, computer and job readiness training. We also provide guidance and support through the citizenship process. At Josephine's Place, women develop and grow in confidence to realize their full potential and be better equipped in day-to-day life. In doing so, they uplift themselves, their families, communities and future generations.
