I'm a nutritionist and freelance food and cookery writer. My nutrition knowledge, cooking experience and practical writing style provide a unique voice and perspective on food, cooking and making a healthy meal at the end of the day. From 2005 - 2008 I wrote a recipe column for Life etc magazine, called Ten Minute Kitchen, featuring simple and fast recipes based around a specific ingredient. I also wrote a number of articles for Life etc, covering food labelling, sugar and salt alternatives and how to eat the full quota of vegies per day. I have been a frequent contributor to Wellbeing magazine, writing articles covering trans fats, mercury in fish and online health resources. I write the Eat Well column and other articles for HealthSmart. In 2006 I started the healthy eating blog, Limes & Lycopene: http://kathrynelliott.com.au/ where I publish recipes and articles about the practicalities of trying to eat well when you have a busy life. I also co-author the e-magazine An Honest Kitchen, which is a recipe and practical cooking magazine based around real food that's good for you.
