The Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine (IKEM) is the largest superspecialized clinical and scientific research center in the Czech Republic.For more than 45 years it has been focusing on the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, organ transplantation, diabetology and the treatment of metabolic disorders with the catchment of the whole Czech Republic.IKEM consists of 4 professional centers, 8 clinics and 15 specialized workplaces, bases and laboratories.
