Benedikt Imports is a family-owned business established in 1967. Founded by Mr Isaac Benedikt, it began operations out of a garage in Elsternwick, supplying Kosher food to the Jewish community. As demand for his products grew, Isaac moved to a warehouse in Prahran in the 1970s and later to a larger manufacturing/distribution warehouse in the same suburb.In 1998 the company moved to the current premises in Moorabbin. Mr Benedikt's three sons joined the company's management ranks; namely Eli in 1993, Mordi in 2001 and Moshe in 2008. Today they look to further expand the business within Australia and overseas.
