Able is a privately owned, ambitious and successful organisation. From its origins, in 1966, the Company is founded on the core commitments of providing a wholly reliable service, respecting the natural environment and being flexible in adapting to the ever changing needs of our clients. From being a leading and innovative specialist in complex demolition processes, the Company has developed into a major player across a number of sectors including installation yards for offshore wind turbines, recycling redundant offshore marine structures and ships, land reclamation and property & port development, specialising in renewables. ABLE operates a number of strategic sites, predominantly across the North of England, undertaking full site reclamation and associated property development. Our landholding consists of over 10,000 acres and includes a number of river frontage sites on the River Tees and the Humber Estuary where we provide project ports and logistics services. Over the years ABLE Group has been involved with many nationally significant projects and this is something about which we are very proud. Our enthusiasm to undertake ground-breaking projects is continuing with the development of the Able Humber Port (AHP) and Able Energy Park (AEP) facilities on the South Bank of the River Humber.
