The Design Lab for K-12 Education embodies the College of Design's longstanding commitment to K-12 design education and outreach. The assertion that design is a skill of everyday life is central to the Design Lab mission. Learning about design as a way of thinking helps students apply skills in math, science, technology, reading, writing, and communication in and out of the studio classroom.
