The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews of Canada (IFCJ Canada) was founded by Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein to foster better relations and understanding between Christians and Jews, encourage greater cooperation between both communities on issues of shared biblical concern, and support Israel and Jews in crises or need. Our vision is that Jews and Christians will reverse their 2,000-year history of discord and replace it with a relationship marked by dialogue, respect and cooperation.IFCJ Canada operates under the leadership of Yael Eckstein, and is governed by an independent Board of Directors representing many faiths who share our strong belief in building bridges between the Christian and Jewish communities.Today, The Fellowship is the largest philanthropy for social welfare causes in Israel, with thanks to our global efforts from here in Canada, along with our sister organizations in the United States and South Korea. We have helped hundreds of thousands of Jews escape poverty and anti-Semitism and return to their biblical homeland, funded humanitarian assistance that has touched the lives of impoverished Israelis, and provided life-giving aid to suffering Jews around the world.
