The Transition Project is a student-founded non-profit organization based in Montreal, QC. With a focus on reducing unemployment and poverty, our initiative provides a comprehensive program to our clients who are either currently homeless or on the verge of homelessness. This organization was started in 2016 as a response to the growing unemployment rate in Montreal. Through the awareness of our founding members, The Transition Project was born with one goal: helping financially-disadvantaged individuals obtain employment and attain long-term financial autonomy.Since then, The Transition Project has transformed immensely from the help of various individuals and organizations. From conception, we have helped over 100 individuals find jobs. Currently, The Transition Project is converting to a completely digital platform. This will allow our program to be implemented more efficiently while allowing us to expand our outreach capabilities.
