Established in 1927, Lower Foods is fourth-generation family enterprise located in Richmond, Utah. We craft with pride a variety of foodservice items from sliced beef and poultry products, to precooked traditional barbecue staples. We are a licensed Certified Angus Beef Brand® processor, smoking more than 5 Million pounds of brisket per year. We are a family who takes pride in the products we produce and are always pursuing innovation and quality in everything we make. All Lower products use real hickory hardwood smoke, are free of the 8 common allergens, certified gluten free, and are produced with only USDA-graded raw materials. Lower Family Foods has a forward-looking sustainable business model, we operate our own water treatment facility for recycling our processed water and providing it to the local farmers for crop irrigation. Through this and other processes we are preserving and sustaining our environment, creating jobs for our community, and continuing our way of life for future generations.
