We were founded in 1994 to manage the textbook distribution for Park University's extended learning program. After discovering the difficulties Park University faced with distribution, MBS created an all-encompassing, customized and streamlined textbook fulfillment program. The program was a success, and lead to the formation of MBS Direct. MBS Direct is a division of MBS Textbook Exchange, LLC. MBS was founded in 1909 as the Missouri Store Company.
