Millions of parents in the U.S. and around the world can't enjoy the simple pleasure of sharing a bedtime story with their children because quality children's books aren't available in their languages. For example, more than 20 million school-aged children in the U.S. live in multilingual households, but few children's books are available for smaller language groups.Bab'l Books was founded by two Harvard students to fix that problem by helping authors and publishers translate their works to reach new markets both in the U.S. and abroad, helping authors earn more and families read more. We use the power of crowdsourcing to translate children's stories into less common languages to expand the library of books available to multilingual families. We then quality check and help publish these submissions to get books to as many young learners as possible. We aim to make storybooks available to anyone, anywhere, in any language.
