The Borough of Broxbourne covers 20 square miles in south east Hertfordshire and has a population of about 83,000. Broxbourne's towns of Waltham Cross, Cheshunt, Broxbourne and Hoddesdon lie along the Lea Valley's main roads and railways. The green belt protects the surrounding countryside.
