LOVEtheLOU is a non profit that was developed out of the love for the city of St. Louis whose mission is a movement of restoration working to reverse the negative trends of poverty and racism in the city of St. Louis. We do this by-Creating where there is nothing-Joining in with what is good-Healing where there is brokennessLOVEtheLOU seeks to meet the needs of North St. Louis through loving relationships and through these loving relationships we believe the city will be transformed. Our work is composed of three key facets.STL| LIFT: a youth mentoring program for teens in North St. Louis lifting the teens out of a poverty mindset by showing them that their lives have an incredible amount of value STL| LIVE: designed to alleviate the stress of high rent and bring in resources to change the poverty mindsetSTL| LINK: a business development program that is stimulating the North St. Louis economy by decreasing the unemployment rate and helping businesses to thrive in their communities.
