The current Clerk and Comptroller, Ken Burke, was sworn in January 4, 2005 and was re-elected without opposition in 2008, 2012 and again in 2016.The Clerk manages all courthouse records, a local budget of approximately $43 million and over 500 employees. Over the years the Clerk has assumed more than 1,000 individual statutory duties as delegated by the Florida Legislature.
