Climate Positive is a not-for-profit which works with businesses and households for real and long-term global warming solutions. Climate Positive works actively to provide tools to engage individuals and groups on global warming issues, to measure and reduce carbon footprints and to offset with high-quality projects. We work to deal with the root cause of global warming through funding offset projects that prevent emissions and build renewable energy capacity. Climate Positive deals with historical carbon debt through the additional step of replanting biodiverse forests on cleared land. As our name suggests, Climate Positive partners with best practise organisations to go beyond being carbon neutral. Climate Positive invests in accredited offset projects with a focus on infrastructure and renewable energy to offset our partner's emissions to carbon neutral. In addition, we restore ecologically diverse permanently protected high-carbon-yield forests on cleared land, to become Climate Positive and to deal with historical carbon debt. Climate Positive is comprised of a team of professionals with a long history in the field of environmental research, renewable energy industry development and ecological protection and restoration. The team includes a volunteer board of directors and specialist staff working in the areas of climate science, research, education, communication and business development, botany, horticulture and environmental engineering. Climate Positive's not-for-profit status ensures that all profits are re-invested back into the organisation, and subsequently into addressing global warming. Climate Positive is the only not-for-profit organisation ranked "outstanding" (90% +) in the Total Environment Centre's & Choice Magazine's "Carbon Offset Watch".
