Lorien Engineering Solutions is a division of GP Strategies Corporation - a publically traded organisation with an annual turnover in excess of $500m. We provide support on CapEx projects consisting of: engineering design, project management and technical consulting services to customers in food, brewing, drinks manufacturing sectors, and life sciences discovery and manufacturing. We also assist companies to develop low-carbon strategies, and implement waste-to-wealth, sustainable energy, and waste-to-energy schemes. Our carboneering © tools are also used to support the latest legislation in the UK including ESOS audits and reports\\We support our global customers on projects around the world, with GP Strategies presence in 30 countries, and operations in around 70 countries globally.\\Safety is our first priority. In July 2017 we will be presented with our 25th Gold Award, and our first Patron's Award from RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents). \\On a typical manufacturing based project, Lorien take responsibility for:\\- Interpreting client requirements, turning them into engineered concepts and designs\- Procurement strategy and execution for facilities, equipment and services\- Expedite off-site build, and manage the on-site construction process\- Testing, commissioning, snagging, through to production handover - and commercialisation\- CDM (safety) coordination during design and construction\- Machine and area safety compliance\- Product safety compliance\- Sustainable energy solutions and sustainable construction\\We also support Continuous Improvement programmes within food and beverage manufacturing plants, utilising our Manufacturing Reliability (TM) tools.
