For more than 30 years, our attorneys have provided counsel and guidance on: the Open Meetings Act; the Freedom of Information Act; board policies and procedures; student matters; education and discipline of disabled students; collective bargaining; employment contracts; constitutional and due process issues; competitive bidding; resolutions and ordinances; and leases and cell tower agreements. We have extensive experience in the assessment of large, special-use properties. We regularly provide advice, counsel, and litigation services to taxing bodies which host nuclear power stations and oil refineries. Our attorneys appear before the boards of review of several counties to protect the tax base of clients facing industrial and commercial assessment disputes.
