After receiving an honorable discharge he then worked for a private investigator while attending Executive Security International's Advanced Executive Protection program. Graduating at the top of his class he accepted a position with Gavin de Becker, Inc. and provided protective services for celebrities, public figures, entertainers and executives. Mr. Borgens remains committed to community involvement and is active in many local civic organization and national associations.
