Wood Bros (Furniture) Ltd was founded in 1924 by Mr H.W. Wood MBE and is still a family company today. From a long line of cabinetmakers, 'HW' loved the strength and character of oak with its hard open grain, which was ideal for the rigours of domestic use as well as for delicate carving. He created the furniture brand 'Old Charm', which is a collection of fine traditional reproduction furniture that draws on the 16th century Tudors as style inspiration with its plethora of unique carvings and motifs.
