McAuley Community Services for Women provides accommodation, support and advocacy for women and their children who have experienced family violence and homelessness.Engage to Change Through our Engage To Change program, McAuley Community Services for Women helps employers and their employees to have a better understanding of how to deal with family violence in the workplace.The program is based on McAuley's long-term experience of working with women who are homeless or at the risk of homelessness due to family violence.Engage to Change helps employers and their staff recognise and respond to family violence, know where to refer, within and outside the organisation, understand and address poor performance resulting from the pressure of family violence.We offer a suite of practical options for businesses to learn more about family violence and how you can help your workforce. It includes:Face-to-face interactive training sessions, 90 minutes, tailored to suit your company's needs and led by an experienced facilitatorA 20 minute e-learning package about the impacts of family violence on the workplace and what can be done to prevent it.We regularly run ‘mixed' Engage To Change sessions where one or two representatives from a business can come and experience one of our face to face sessions with people from a range of organisations.
