Chief Technical Office at LaGuardia Gateway Partners - New York, New York, United States
Welcome to the new LaGuardia Airport Terminal B. LaGuardia Gateway Partners (LGP) is the private organization selected by Governor Cuomo and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to rebuild and operate LaGuardia Airport's Terminal B. The new Terminal B signals the start of a modern era in New York City infrastructure and aviation and is part of Governor Andrew Cuomo's vision for a state of the art unified airport. Once the overall LaGuardia redevelopment is complete, the United States will have its first new airport in more than two decades. The first gates of the Eastern Concourse opened on December 1, 2018. On June 13, 2020 the state of the art Terminal B Arrivals and Departures Hall opened to the public, marking the largest milestone in the redevelopment project and signifying that the Terminal B project is approximately 80 percent complete. The first gates of the Western Concourse opened on August 5, 2020; the new 218,000 square foot concourse will open in two phases, to allow the remaining gates in the original terminal to stay operational during construction. When complete, Terminal B will completely redefine the guest experience at LaGuardia. Dual pedestrian bridges will span active aircraft taxi lanes – the first in the world – and connect the main part of the terminal to two island concourses. LaGuardia Gateway Partners is composed of Vantage Airport Group, Skanska, Meridiam, and JLC Infrastructure for development and equity investment; Skanska Walsh as the design build joint venture; HOK and WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff for design; and Vantage Airport Group for management of the terminal operations. LaGuardia Gateway Partners members have worked on more than 350 aviation and transportation projects globally and domestically, including international airports in New York (John F. Kennedy), Chicago, Doha, Delhi, Los Angeles, Santiago, and Nassau.
