The Spicewood Arts Society (SAS) is the Home of the Arts in the Hill Country. The organization brings performing, visual and literary arts opportunities to the community of Spicewood, TX and surrounding areas. The performing arts program consists of at least six concerts each year hosted at the Spicewood Vineyards. The visual arts program includes Arts Round-Up, a juried fine arts festival, and a minimum of four art treks to Texas Museums and historical venues. SAS uses the funds raised to provide arts related educational opportunities for the local schools. Each year the organization awards $1,500 scholarships to three graduating seniors of Marble Falls High School and three at Lake Travis High School. In 2014, SAS will award a seventh scholarship honoring one of the three original organization founders.
