Our hospital provides targeted treatment through a mood disorders unit and a general psychiatric unit. We treat individuals who are experiencing acute crises from mental health concerns such as bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, self-harm, psychotic disorders, suicidal ideation, posttraumatic stress disorder, and personality disorders. Our evidence-based treatment modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, wellness recovery action plan (WRAP), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and psychoeducation. We also provide patients with pharmacotherapy and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) when appropriate. Multidisciplinary teams consist of psychiatrists, registered nurses, behavioral health associates, social workers, case managers, psychologists, psychotherapists, educators, and occupational therapists. Each professional carefully evaluates patients to identify their unique needs and provide customized services that best suit their circumstances.
