We carry thousands of moldings and frames to choose from, with a very wide price range.We carry a large selection of hand-crafted, hand-carved, water-gilded picture frames in styles ranging from California Impressionist, Western, Italian, Spanish and European, and periods from the Renaissance to Contemporary.We have a wide selection of contemporary floater frames, and acrylic display cases and shadow boxes are our specialty.J Dewers owner Janos Novak has 30 years experience in frame-making and conservation, and unparalleled knowledge of the history of picture frames. Janos is uniquely qualified as a designer and maker of picture frames. He has decades of hands-on experience working at the Balboa Art Conservation Center in Balboa Park, San Diego, where he was employed as Art Conservation Technician, frame maker and frame restorer. He assisted the Paintings and Paper Conservation Departments in many areas of conservation and restoration, for many prominent museums and collections in the South West. He brings that wealth of knowledge to his business. Janos is a member of the San Diego Art Services Network, which is a group of highly-qualified art professionals.
