Gravity Media Productions was started from the ground up by two Missoula natives, Kagan Yochim and Tyson Bierwag. Gravity is Missoula's only full service production house, providing Digital Cinema, HD Video, Graphic and Animation Design. Kagan and Tyson have worked together since 2007, with Kagan bringing a branch of a Spokane-based production house to Missoula in 2006. Later they both (again) worked at the University of Montana, with Kagan being MontanaPBS's Media Manger, and Tyson a contract producer and graphic designer. Kagan was also an adjunct professor in the School of Journalism for 8 years. With clients across the state and the country, they have worked for ABC's The Bachelorette, The Discovery Channel, The CBS Evening News, MSNBC, ABC's Good Morning America, along with a lot of live sports: SPEED, ESPN, ESPN – 2, ESPN – U and Root Sports. In 2014 Gravity Media Productions went international, working with a Canadian motion picture company, Amsterdam's "TV Show" and Europe's news network RTL. Together they have earned 7 EMMY Nominations (1 win) and several Gold / Silver ADDY wins for their clients.
