Durham Academy is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory school serving students in grades Pre-kindergarten through 12. Enrollment for 2018-2019 school year is 1,228 students. Thirty-six percent are students of color.The purpose of Durham Academy is to provide each student an education that will enable him or her to live a moral, happy and productive life. DA has two full-time college counselors with 100% of graduates attending a four-year college or university. The school has produced 49 National Merit Scholarship finalists over the last four years.DA fields 44 athletics teams in 20 different sports - 75% of students in grades 7 through 12 participate in athletics.Tuition for 2018-2019 ranges from $14,965-$25,925.
