Canal 33 is a privately held and privately funded medical device company founded by Dr Andres Betts, M.D. who is a national speaker and published author in the field of interventional pain management and inventor of several key medical devices held by Canal 33. The Canal 33 motto is "creative business strategies bring ideas to invention". We are an IDEA company focused on the invention of medical devices to ultimately and expediently sell or transfer the intellectual property (IP) rights to these devices via licensing, royalty arrangements, merger, joint venture or corporate sale to leading medical device manufacturers and marketers. Vertech currently holds key patents for three medical devices invented by, and transferred to Canal 33, by its Founder. The IP rights may be sold in the pre-prototype or post-prototype stages, in a patent pending or patented state, or pre/post FDA approved status depending on financial ramifications. Canal 33 recognizes that potential purchasers of our medical devices or IP have substantial resources in terms of marketing, manufacturing and distribution such that we see no additional value in our pursuing or competing in these areas. We remain an idea company that dedicates our resources to develop these ideas until they are sufficiently defined by patent or prototype to be offered for potential purchase.
