Founded by a 2nd generation optician, ALEXANDER DAAS is a luxury eyewear brand whose mission is to promote awareness of independent and quality eyewear and to empower independent opticians to connect with all people so that everyone can experience proper care and styling. We are committed to fine eyewear, distributing Alexander Daas and KBL, with retail stores in Los Angeles and San Francisco, and eCommerce platform DaasOptique.com, in addition to providing consulting eyewear services to eyewear companies and retailers. Across these properties we feature independent brands with unique designs made from the highest quality materials by skilled craftsmen.ALEXANDER DAAS produces handmade sunglasses and eyeglasses using the highest quality materials such as Italian and Japanese acetates and titanium. The San Francisco store, serving the community since 1979, is where the first generation began and from where ALEXANDER DAAS was initially launched.
