Founded by a United States Navy SEAL family, Angels 4 Our Troops (A4OT) is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The mission of A4OT is to support and assist all past and present members of the American Armed Forces, and their families, who are suffering from the effects of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and/or traumatic brain injury (TBI). A4OT hopes to stop the downward spiral of broken marriage, unemployment, drug and alcohol addiction, and homelessness that often times accompany PTSD and TBI. The intention of A4OT is to provide medical help that the United States Department of Veteran's Affairs (VA) does not provide or takes too long to provide. Based in Southern California, A4OT wishes to expand nationally in the near future.Proceeds go toward the research of better treatment of PTSD and TBI and toward the assistance of troops and their families as they deal with these difficult issues.
