Prep-ICS LLC offers Emergency Management solutions for health care organizations. Disasters, whether internal (e.g., utility failure, structural damage, or flood), or external (e.g., civil unrest, fires, earthquakes, public health emergencies), continue to challenge the most prepared hospital response programs. Healthcare emergency preparedness planners should be able to successfully execute a response plan for real life events or training scenarios. Prep-ICS created a software solution specifically designed to meet those challenges. Our product, Mobile Incident Compliance System or MICS, was developed to help prepare and improve hospital response to an overwhelming event using an all hazards approach. The application was designed for computers and smart devices to follow and implement the Hospital Incident Command System (HICS). MICS enables an emergency management program to customize their incident response plans on a cloud-based system for the purposes of real-time event monitoring and as well as for training and education. MICS will also monitor response activities and synthesize the data for a more effective process over traditional paper-based systems. All actions are captured for regulatory compliance purposes, after action reporting and for process and quality improvements.
