Tom and Jason, with over 14 years combined, in the death care industry realize that the cost for funeral services have unfairly increased exponentially over the last several years. Coming from the industry, they both know that there is no reason why a cremation should cost $4,000-$5,000 minimum or that a traditional ground burial should cost $9,000+. It is not fair to the family that is going through what very well could be their most difficult time in their lives. What the families are paying for at traditional brick and mortar funeral homes, is just that…the brick and mortar. The family is paying the employee salaries, for the grass to be cut, for the windows to be cleaned and for employee benefits/vacations. At Central Cremation Center, our families pay for the cremation or the direct burial…NOT our overhead. We will be upfront with all our families, our exact costs to care for their loved one.
