Mission: Pledge 5 Foundation encourages individuals to develop charitable habits by organizing manageable charity drives, meaningful volunteer opportunities and rewards for participation. What does Pledge 5 do?We host 20 extraordinary COMMUNITY EVENTS annually, each associated with its own charity drive to benefit nonprofits both locally & nationally. We host SERVICE SOCIALS that allow individuals to give back to their community 5 hours at a time. Each social experience is arranged at local nonprofits and are followed by a reception with free food & drinks. We feature select businesses through our COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP program. Benefits for our partners include year round advertising, exciting ways to donate to charity organizations, and the best cause branding that Gainesville has to offer.Our DESIGN GROUP, lead by Evan Poirier, collaborates with interns to continually enhance the aesthetic appeal of Pledge 5. Design platform includes print, websites, mobile apps, and events. Our INTERNSHIP PROGRAM provides students the opportunity to gain experience within their field of study.
