NZI Helmets designs, develops, manufactures and sells personal pro¬tective equipment. All aspects of the company are managed in-house. NZI not only works in the passive safety (1) field, but also in the im¬provement of the active safety (2). For this, a new department in the company is started, which deals with product ergonomics, thermal com¬fort, acoustic comfort and vision quality. Along with the already existing de¬partments like Production Method and Materials Research, Graphic Design, Technical Implementation Research, Testing Laboratories and Technical Design, this allows us to continuously improve our products, in both the passive safety as in the active safety.The helmet not only has to protect the human head from impacts in the case of accidents, but also needs to offer practical and comfortable usability and high vision performance, so the riding experience will be stress free and the driver can keep focused on the riding of the bike.(1) Passive safety: Performance of the product, when an acci¬dent has occurred, to minimize the injuries.(2) Active safety: Performance of the product to avoid accidents.
