UNEP DTU Partnership (formerly UNEP Risø Centre) is a UN Environment collaborating centre based at the UN City in Copenhagen. It is a leading international research and advisory institution on climate, energy and sustainable development, operating under a tripartite agreement between Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Denmark, UN Environment and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).UNEP DTU Partnership comprises two Centres: Centre on Energy, Climate and Sustainable Development, and the Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency. It is located at the UN City in Copenhagen, Denmark and is organisationally a part of the Department of Management Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark.As a United Nations Environment Collaborating Centre, it is an integral part of UN Environment's Division of Technology, Industry and Economics (DTIE) and an active participant in both the planning and implementation of UN Environment's Climate Change Strategy and Energy Programme.
