The Victoria West Community Association is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to engage residents in community stewardship, impact decisions that affect the community, raise awareness, foster a sense of spirit and pride, and encourage solutions to community issues, projects, and events.In support of its mission, the VWCA runs the Victoria West Community Centre that is the heart of the neighbourhood, offering diverse and relevant activities for all. It is a place where neighbours meet, learn, and volunteer. The Centre provides physical, intellectual, social, and cultural programs, and provides licensed daycare, preschool, and out-of-school care programs that contribute to individual and community health and development.
