Central Texas Medical Center is a 178-bed hospital providing a wide range of healthcare services in San Marcos, Texas and neighboring communities. The hospital was established in 1960, and the present facility opened in 1983. In late 2009, CTMC completed a $35 million expansion and renovation on a 64,000 sq ft Women's Center that includes all private rooms, a Level II nursery and a new cardiac inpatient nursing unit with all private rooms.
