Since 2019, when Bayport Money Solutions was launched, we have seen first-hand the difference the appropriate, thoughtful and compassionately executed debt solutions, in combination with a strong financial literacy programme, can make to the quality of life of individuals and households. Bayport Financial Services was established in South Africa in 2004 as a non-bank provider of unsecured credit and allied products. Motivated by a desire to engage with customers in a supportive environment that enables long-term financial wellness, we created Bayport Money Solutions as an employer-driven programme. Far from a shot in the dark, the programme was informed by the success we had with offering our own employees debt solutions and financial literacy training.
