The Dearborn Pastoral Counseling Center (DPCC) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit agency providing faith-based mental health counseling to individuals or couples. The agency was established in 1984 by a group of local ministers who were concerned with the high demands on their time for counseling, the extent to which some counseling issues were outside of their comfort zone, and the high costs of counseling for individuals with limited financial resources. DPCC can accept most insurance programs and provides services for out of pocket expenses on a sliding fee scale. DPCC is currently recruiting for an additional part-time LMSW who is currently participating with insurance companies or will commit to enrolling with insurance companies. The position has a unique opportunity to also serve as the Executive Director. The Executive Director position is essentially a volunteer position with a small monthly stipend available. The time commitment for the Executive Director is approximately 8 hours per week. An interested candidate for the LMSW position is not required to accept the Executive Director position.
